- > For $179 I can't complain.I think you guys are getting confused. The origional item I was asking
- about was the Reveal VM-100 Voice Mail for the PC. It's a box that plugs
- onto a serial port, and attaches to your sound card. You plug your phone
- line into the vm-100, and voila, voice mail. It has 9 mail boxes, and
- from what I can see, can even mail box a fax (somehow, I haven't read all
- the directions yet ;-}).
-
- Anyway, what I wanted was some personal experiences with the product; not
- sales pitches for "better" products or like that. I think it would be
- considered a modem because it does send DTMF. A modem doesn't need to
- support FAX to be a standard modem. I have 2 2400bps modems that don't
- support fax, but I believe they are still considered modems.
-
- Sorry for the soap box.
-
- Has anyone had any experience with this particular product?
-
- Thanx.
